I'm in the same boat as you, somewhat. I've been away from affiliate marketing for over a decade. I'm literally just getting started back into it and feel lost as to where I should start. I just spent $75 for a domain and hosting and I'm putting a site together around a niche. Basically, reviewing a few different products all related to the niche and I'll have links and photos tied to my affiliate links.

That's how I'm getting my feet wet, and I'm hoping I can come up with some new ideas from the people on this site.

I own a business, and started having kids. I just didn't have time to maintain it. Now I'm really burned out working so much and thinking of selling my business and working from home, affiliate marketing always seemed like something that I feel I can be successful with.

My time would be my biggest resource, so would be a lot of cold calling.

What you sell would be highly dependant on your expertise.

This is the thing however, you have found alreaddy somethign wrokign out for you. I think the author here, needs to find that one thing as well. We can just give our expertise in our field, but no clue what the perosn posting this thread does

Knowing what you are good at is not easy, my advice for the OP is just expose his workflow to as many things as possible.

That's prob the fastest way to get started.

if you need 5k in next month, them you would have to sell something illegal or you can make good investment plan and act on it. most of youtubers doing one penny challenge and you could follow it

@jeepinjeff No one's going to give you good answers to such a vague question. The only way to start is by asking the correct questions.

So how do you ask the correct question?

By being self-aware of your situation

There are countless ways to make money but unfortunately, not everything will work for you.

Anything that makes money involves its complexities.

A 3d artist's way of making money does not work for people who don't have knowledge and experience in that profession.

First, identify what skills you are good at, what knowledge you have, or what resources you can use.

Most people here make money by learning how to utilize their skills more effectively to make more money.

Supposing I make money by using a social media account to promote affiliate links, in a month 1 account makes $500 and the cost of setting it up was around $50.

I could be more efficient by automating this process using a bot to run 10 different accounts set up for $500 and make the $5000 you want from that.

The knowledge here can help you finish the part of the equation you need to get the $5000 but first, you need the ____ that ensures if you put that $500 you get the $5000

To first be able to get 1 you have to know how to get 0.

Lastly to answer your question. your only options are:

a. investing in something that can give you the ability to turn the $500 into $5000 this can be knowledge or a resource that can help you be more efficient

b. investing in scaling whatever method you use to make money.

However, he should combine it with investing a little money.
