I had a similar situation back in 2018 when I was flying.
It wasn't that bad but basically an complete engine failure from one of the turbos wings within 50minutes or so after take off.
I already KO'ed shortly after take off (I was dead tired), I woke up when the plane lost quite a bit of attitude and due to the vast majority was screaming in panic.
The plane turned around and landed safety (luckily). And a new flight was scheduled 3hours later on another plane. (Lol, they cancelled that other flight for us, which caused so much drama on their social media).
I missed my transfer flight afterwards anyways, I knew that was gonna happen despite they were confident we will catch the transfer plane \o/
I think I made peace during that day, if I died, I died, which was what went through my head.
But thinking back, it was actually pretty nerve fucking reckoning.
