How would you promote a video game?

I've been developing a video game for long time and I have to start promoting it soon.

But im not sure how honestly.i mean i know one or two methods but relying only on that would'nt be too good

how would u promote it?

Is it multiplayer?
Can we see some screenshots?
 
I've never promoted a game. But I've probably been buying ads from little-known YouTubers.
 
Influencers is the way to go with games because u may want to spend money on ads but u maybe don't know much in how to use a tracker , how u can optimize etc . The easiest way to go is choosing an influencer , askin him or her how much they charge and start. Best of luck :)
 
Well... It depends mostly on the game genre and market.

Any other detail you'll like to share about it?
 
I would target smaller Youtubers who would promote the game and do a review for a small amount of money, maybe even a free copy of the game.
