If you had the domain "Cutie.com" how would you profit off it? What would you build the site based on and why? I am curious as to what different web developers think - as I may be able to get this domain; have a few ideas floating around in my head but I can't really decide.

sell it. go to namepros and ask for an appraisal. if you're lucky, you can find someone that will pay you a lot of money.

If I only had this .com :) Man the profit would be crazy, I used to have a group called crazy for shoes on myspace, #2 in the fashion category.... that was when myspace was myspace :) So the lesson is, female shoes work! Sign up to shareasale, then build the sit around their affiliate networks OR sign up to Amazon and just fill it with female shoes and accessories! With the name Cutie.com you should have no problem making some shekels :)

good luck :)

So more of an ecommerce, you are suggesting? That's what I had in mind. I'm stuck inbetween making it a cute girl/porn gallery site or a site aimed at selling 'cute' clothing

Fashion & styling all the way. It's the perfect domain name for it, don't burn it by making "yet another porn site" out of it.

Chances are you will not be able to establish a "go-to" porn site and the domain is wasted potential if you go after some small niche with it.

Also it is way easier to build a real and engaging audience for a fashion & styling site/store/w.e. through social media like Pinterest.

you can further narrow the niche for better targeting
maybe some fashion and styling website for teen girls

The guy who owns the domain wont sell it to you for less than 6 figures, that's a fact. By six figures I mean starting with a 5 or 6 minimum, he doesn't need the money. He is also one of the original traffic guys for adult sites.

You may be JVing but if you don't have a clear viable route to making money he wont JV with you either.

So I dont know if you are talking about that actual domain or a domain that sounds similar.

I am not knocking you OP because I do not have all the facts, you do. I am just telling what I know.

I would say some sort of fashion blog and maybe sell email accounts for people on the side. Eg - [email protected]. Gotta be a demand for that...

Thanks for the great advice. I was leaning towards doing an adult site, but it would be incrredibly hard to stand out, and as you mentioned it would be "yet another porn site" - I definitely think fashion/clothing would be much better now, it will just be harder for me as I am not used to using conventional traffic sources that I would need for this niche

Fashion + girl aadvice
huge potential to be the go to authority site for girls to visit

Thanks for all the tips everyone, you've all provided some great insight that will surely help me out in the future.

Also, Feel free to message me if interested in a JV, wherein I'll also be able to reveal more details

Plot twist; The domain only ended up being Cutey. org - I'm thinking of still using the same methods listed earlier, though
