How would you monetize fields in a T1 country?

Hi, so basically since my grandfather died some years ago I inherited some fields that have been hanging around since then. They're not very big but there is some space to do pretty much everything on it. I wonder if there is a way from which I could make some small profits, considering that if I want to grow something I would need to invest on it, so I'd like at least to recover that amount.
So, is it worth growing it and if so, what would you grow? I live in a coastal region so the climate is quite warm
