I need some help and a little advise from my fellow BHW'ers.

I currently have 500+ sites that are a mixture of landing pages and blogs that are recieving anywhere from 6k to 10k visitors per day (total).

How would you guys best monetize this traffic??

wow that is huge :)
If i were you, I would be a Billionaire..

be more specific with your Niches, so i can suggest you some idea :)

The issue is that there is such a wide variety.

Mainly it is SEO, Auto, Self-Help, Prescriptions...etc

Would it be best to just place adsense on them....have like 5% of traffic get redirected to an affiliate url that would rotate...use a on-page popup advertisement?

really people???

In a blackhat forum....the only answer I have received is "stick adsense on it"??????

If I was able to make 500+ sites that generate over 5k in traffic...I think I know how to "stick adsense on it".

Has BHW gotten that bad that no one has any clever ideas to monetize?

...please excuse my rant...just disappointed.

If you made over 500+ sites with 5k+ traffic daily, you should be making quite a bit. What have you been doing in the past? Surely you didn't build 500+ sites without making a dime off of them.

You asked such a general question with hardly any information for us, and you expected an amazing response in a thread that would have a much better response in the "Make Money" section. Give us more details. Is this SE traffic? Are all of these MNS?

You need to go through them one by one; the same monetization will not work for every site. I'm not sure how you got to the point of having 500+ sites and and not knowing how to monetize them properly... what do you have on there now? Sure, you can set up Adsense on them all as a placeholder but you don't want that many sites on one Adsense account permanently. Go through the ones with the most traffic first and monetize them, then go through another dozen or so each day and monetize them properly. Adsense is usually the lowest paying option but it's great for people who are too lazy to monetize properly.

Adsense? Lol...

Start building lists, first of all. Then backend membership, or at least redirect traffic to a backend membership - drip feed content to keep them paying for membership - bam...you're making good cash.

Split test ad placements and offers, check ctr and conversion for targeted cpa offers.

Sell banner ads for a decent cpm, rotate them to squeeze in some more.

Congrats, I just made you a few exta k a month :)

Thats is a lot of work. I think the best are adsense mix with cpa. You can also sell Links

I suggest you to try one week adsense and watch if it is doing something

BLAST it to millions of blogs.
Do whatever link building you can

Get a Page Rank.

than sell links on them.

Analyze the traffic:

-where does it come from, referrers...
-demographics...
-WHAT are they looking for...

then create tailored offers, ads, cpa and other methods depending on the above...

I think if you are able to manage 500+ websites then you must know the answer to ur question

Adsense and affiliate links are a given...that's IM 101. The purpose of creating the thread was to further ideas of how to better monetize than the "generic way"

How does someone with your knowledge have this many sites?

It will change base on the site... Adsense, Amazon, CPA lock.

If you're looking for one solution that fits the needs of 500 sites that are different in nature, your solution is going to be highly underoptimized.

If you have product ones, link to amazon or adsense. If you have low quality traffic such as celebrity, those people love wasting their time, so stick monetized flash games on the site beneath each article. If its pure good-quality content use adsense. If its a landing page ... certainly you had an idea for the landing page to monetize it when you made one (I hope you're not making a landing page website for anything else than products).

It sounds like you haven't tried anything yet? Most people have their monetization figured out by the time they have 5 websites made, let alone 500 lol.
