How would you leverage a viral video?

I never monetized the video since I thought it would probably be taken down if I attempted to since it's news station footage. However, I was wondering if I could use the video to invite views to my other new videos? Would that be ok? Any tips or suggestions are always gladly welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Using it in that capacity would be fine, see it done all the time. I'd use a caption link for the best effect, rather than just in the info.

Any affiliate products you can use? Or is the video not related to anything?

You need to test out several affiliate offers and see which one converts better. It really can be as simple as that.
