How would you guys market an educational e-book?

Perhaps this is a bit basic, but I recommend finding where your target market reside and marketing to them there. If you are writing a course about topic X, then find where people who are interested in topic X are located and hit them there.

Amazon has an interesting print on demand option which may be a decent option for print and distribution, but not for marketing. You would just point people to your Amazon item page and let them buy from Amazon. There are of course other print on demand options.

Convert it to audio book. Give it for free in exchange for email, if no one buys it.

You need to find where your customers spend most of their time. You can promote the book in fb groups, subreddits, forums, and educational websites through ads.

Pretty much any social media.

The people that promote Hotmart books and courses usually do it through Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

They usually build the audience first, unless you decide to go the paid advertising route.

Convert the course into videos and offer it on Udemy - an e-book is going to be leaked in no time.

Who is your target market/audience?

Most e-commerce platforms allow you to sell digital products nowadays like Amazon or even Etsy. You can also check out Gumroad.com. You can use almost any social media to promote/market it.
