how would you define "Premium Hosting"?

.. I need to come up with 5 premium hosting plans for a MSP company who don't want to deal with cheap services. .. wherever I go > Premium Hosting plans start from $5/month and that is rubbish :D :D

please, throw in the most ridiculous ideas :) thank you

Premium hosting which got 100% up-time and always online 24 x 7 support.

yes, 24/7 support is a Must!

but, there are many supermarkets that are open 24/7 > still, it doesn't mean they sell Premium stuff

I don’t think there is such a thing as 100% up time, maybe 99.9%, but I never saw 100% up time in any of the hosting companies I bought services from, and I have a lot of companies under my belt.

Premium for me means 24/7 support via chat, and also superior hardware of the servers.

... err.. thank you, no more ideas are needed.. directions are changing toward secure vps hosting packages.

When you're evaluating enterprise class hostings / co-location and similar the SLAs of hosting providers are kinda like 99.99999% uptime.
You probably end up with an allowed down time < 1h / year. But than we're talking about other figures as 50 / 500 / 1000$ a month for the hosting.

Premium Hosting is just a web hosting that provides more disk space

In my opinion, this has no specific meaning. It's more like; 'buy our premium hosting, it's much better than our cheap plans!'

:) have you ever had a dedicated server in a good/pro data centre? :)

Fast and unlimited internet, over 360 GB SSD memory with at least 8gb RAM. Premium CPU Cores. and yeah down time is a big NO NO.

My opinion that hosting is general bad for big websites. The best thing to do is rent a dedicated server, or a cloud server, and configure the server yourself.

Premium hosts have fast connection, high quality hardware, excellent customer support a that solves the problems in short time. And finally premium hosts do not oversell and keep the spammers in check.
Easy to use control panel, DDos protection etc are also common with premium hosts.
