How would you bring more traffic to your site?

I built a website with a niche related to funny pictures and i have been using pinterest a lot for pining images and getting view from there. I am getting a few views i guess i am not doing bad but i want to scale this up and bring a lot more view to my website.

How would you do that in my case? what can i do to bring people to my website to view my content instead of just seeing it on pinterst.

Any ideas are welcome.

'a few views' that's the problem there, you should be a get a lot of views from pinterest if done correctly. Invest in an automated pinterest software...

also you should try facebook,works very good with funny websites.people love to share funny stuff

pin is definitely a great social net for your site, since its an image social net.
but i don't think funny stuff is too popular on pin.
fb will probably work better for your niche.
and if you have really good content, it can go quite viral on fb.
twitter is good also, but content is less viral on there and you will get less traffic.
also think about ig since it is basically the new fb

The Reddit community don't tolerate duplicate media, bunch of strict nerds on that site.

You're better off using facebook if you want to direct traffic to a funny picture site or maybe even tumblr. Pinterest is filled with women. I doubt they want to repin funny pictures, that's just me though

I agree with the Facebook comments. Everyone and their dog is on there. People do like to share things they find funny, and it just spreads out from there.
