Me and a partner of mine just made a hosting site and I was wondering what is the best way to SEO the site?

I have a few programs but in peoples opinions what is the best way to seo the website?

If you want long term which I am guessing you do, start building some high quality web 2.0's along with social bookmarks, high PR blog comments,social signals, etc..

What kind of site? The SEO steps will be different depending on of it is a local business or a niche site.

It's a web hosting site. It's not a local business. Also what does making web 2.0's mean? and Social Bookmarks?

LOL no. Porn has a lot of comp and it's pretty hard to rank in that area.

You can give promotional offers in webmaster forums for forum members (mostly respected members). You can use coupons to get discounted price. Do you have forums on your website? if not, create it, and if yes, start a competition. Maybe that will need much work but it does bring traffic and attention.
