How would Google Penalize this?

Suppose I have a domain... and I set up an autoblog in a separate directory inside the domain...

Would that make the rankings of the whole domain suffer in the long run or would it just be just those indexed pages inside the blog? How would Google treat this in general?

Also, are there chances of my adsense account getting banned/blocked if I do this? Because I am showing adsense on duplicate content? I know that they block adsense accounts in case of the infringement of copyright material? Not sure how would they behave in case of duplicate content.

Good question, but sadly, if you were to be penalised it would reflect in your whole site getting penalised.

As for loosing your adsense. Its against their T&C's so you may very well loose your adsense.

You do not want to do anything to loose your adsense as its such a bitch to get accepted again.

They wont delete your adsense due to it being on duplicate conent though, but as its an autoblog it might very well do

I read somewhere read that it doesn't really matter if the material is duplicate... They do not really penalize you... It's just that you do not get the credit for those articles...

I mean the effect never goes in negative... it remains at 0 at worst?

Tried the autoblog/auto post thing and my adsense stopped showing for the whole domain, sub.domain within the next few days of autoblog posts.

I got really nervouse since was a good domain and removed all auto posts off the site. Crossed my fingers and hoped not to get that domain blacklisted.

next day ad-sense was showing again, so got lucky.
Wont be using the auto posts without rewriting the articles.

Having your site penalized for having an autoblog on it makes no sense at all!

Why? because people rank, bank and make auto blogs all the time!

Now ive only setup autoblogs a long time ago now but this never happened and ive seen others here having great success with autoblogs so not sure what this is all about being penalized.
