Alright, I need to come by a little money somehow and thought about trying my hand with Associated Content.

I noticed that they keep throwing assignments at you, so the work will always be there.

So.. is it worth writing for them?
How well do they pay and is there a better way to use implement my writing skills than AC?

Thanks in advance,

Anyone?

They pay via paypal and its only around 2 dollars if you get that article accepted which is a 50/50 shot. I personally don't use them anymore.

How would they not accept it if you follow the requirements exactly?

Don't let my results hold you back from trying it those were just the results I've seen and heard from others. I don't really mess with the smaller scaled stuff anymore just personal preferences. But if I where you I would go for it and see how it works you really never know until you try it yourself. Personal results are the best results!

Yes, that is true.
I want to work on a larger scale but can't seem to get started!

I just need some initial cash to get everything going.

Any suggestions?

They key to making money with AC is:

(1). Keyword Research. Find keyword phrases that have over 5000 monthly exact searches. And then make sure that those subjects are not covered in the AC database. If they are, move on. If not, you have a winner.

(2). Write articles around 550 to 650 words.

(3). Always include a pic with your article and always include the three takeaways.

As long as I have followed that formula, they always pay around $4.20 per article.

Having shared that, if you are a great writer, there are far better sources that pay way better than the peanuts doled out by AC.

Yeah, that is a lot to do for $4.
I think I am just going to start doing spinnable articles solely.

Higher demand nowadays anyway.

It's just finding a good place to sell the articles lol. That's my issue now and days.

Yeah, well when I get a little initial money, BHW is a good place to offer.

I submitted an AC article, which was 80% original (rewritten), but it was rejected as being published elsewhere or copied directly from published content. They also took their sweet time reviewing the submission; it can take up to a couple of weeks. I guess I'll be submitting 100% original content from now on; nevertheless, I'm not exactly thrilled with AC. You may experience better results. Crewchief007 seems to offer good advice.

Very nice tips.Thanks. I will try to follow it. But the main problem is country.

What I've found lately is, if you are writing for other article sites with higher demands for article quality and uniqueness, it will put you in a better position to write articles AC will approve. I'm currently in that situation, so when I tested this about a week ago, I found 6 of the last articles i submitted to AC were accepted for upfront payment, and the last for performance payments. IAW, don't write at AC's mediocre level, or use them as a primary destination for your writing efforts---yet once you are writing better for more pay elsewhere, AC will pay you upfront! Odd, but true.
