Buying links is a tiresome and expensive process. Im considering just stopping buying links. How has your journey went without acquiring new links on a regular basis.

1. Hire with link building agency - Most are grandfathered to old pricing . That saves you money.

2. Get a VA and have them provided with the tools . Ease time and money .
 
I don't buy or build backlinks for my own sites. It takes about 6 to 9 months to start getting real traffic and it's all upwards from there.

The wait time depends on your niche and the keyword themes you're going after
 
I don't like how much time it takes to get the job done without backlinks.
 
Then it will take time to see the desire results. its another whole strategy if you want to follow.
 
best way to use HARO links which is damn quality links and boost your website, if you do not want to do it or can not do it , you can hire HARO agency who can do that for you ,

So Quality>Quantity

I signed up to haro but there was only like 2 requests per day at most?
 
To be honest without backlinks you have no chance of ranking for high competition searches, unless you have already built up a high enough DA that is. Yes you can target low competition searches and hope to build naturally but depending what you site is for and what it is targeting that just won't cut it.
 
If you want to get rank on High competition keyword, You must do some quality Backlink.

It is easy to rank without backlinks on Google if the SERPS competitors don't have any best referring domains.
 
You can build them yourself, if you dont want spend money on them but it will take your time. But in any case, building links is a necessary process.
 
I have ranked sites without backlinks but it was in past. Now it is almost impossible to rank for competitive keywords without backlinks.
