How was this stealth account created?

So I purchased a stealth account, the feedback page says it was registered yesterday. But it has a 1000 item limit.

I'm quite shocked that this is possible, I know how to create your bog standard stealth accounts with a 10 item limit - but anyone able to shed some light on this?

It's a total crapshoot. If the eBay computers say you look like a legit seller, they start you off at up to 1000/50000
 
The account was created before you bought it so the seller can promise you 1000 limit. Account sellers create like 10 accounts a day, with various limits and will charge higher prices for higher limit ones. But the account creation itself as I said is a crapshoot.
 
Some of these account sellers obviously have connections inside eBay. They must have mate or someone working in eBay who is ratting.
 
The seller contacted ebay, if you tell them what they want to hear you can up your limit the first day.

This is nothing new, you just need to know the loophole (what they want to hear)

Yeah, the information is all out there in various places on the internet. You just have to put together the pieces and add your own creativity. Research, research, and research some more. Make lots of accounts. Learn from trial and error. Get used to the way eBay runs things by creating accounts and eventually you can use the limits system to your advantage.
 
This is why I love this website. Learning about this stealth account thing makes me feel like I was such a schmuck before regarding Ebay. Keep on keeping on guys!
By the way the guy probably does have hookups inside Ebay.
