How useful stories? Should I start using them on my account?

I'll use them on my top accounts and they work like hell - but remember: Everything takes time and quality. If you can manage to produce unique top content and have the time to publish it (on a daily base), yes go for it!

The short answer is, yes.
The long answer is yes, of course you should be posting stories.
Stories give you another avenue to interact with you audience. It doesn't even have to be strictly videos. You can do polls (Messi or Ronaldo, etc etc), slide bar, and "ask me anything" type of posts.
Do these daily and the engagement will increase.
Did you know that the stories that appear first on your feed are the accounts that you engage with the most? Think about that and put yourself in your followers' shoes.

I'd recommend to post on your story because it helps get your page out there more. IG isn't Chronological so its random if your real followers will see. plus if someone wants to do promotions, the more you post on your story and more people watch them, the higher the chance your followers will see them come up first on the homepage
