How u guys put special char. in thread title?

Hello guys, may be it's a dumb one. But I really need to know.
How you guys put char. like * or arrows (>) in your new thread title?

In other words, the guy above wanted to tell you that you just copy - paste it

You can type any character using ALT + #

EX:
♀ = ALT + 12
↨ = ALT + 23
etc...
