1 - Send a picture to any other snapchat user, it doesn't matter who. Open the chat after you just sent the picture. You will see the picture in the chat. Hold on the picture. Click: Save to camera roll. Go back to main snapchat screen. Click your profile. Click the settings button to go to snapchat settings. Scroll down to "Memories". Click Memories. Click "Import from Camera Roll". Select the picture you just saved. Click Import. Now go back to main snapchat screen with the camera. Swipe up to open gallery. Instead of going to phone gallery, go to Memories tab. Your picture will now be in the Memories tab, meaning you can post it to your story now and it will not say "Posted from Camera Roll" !
Edit: This method also works for videos! If you want to post live videos on story, they have to be in 10 second clips, because Snapchat doesn't allow you to import videos to memories if they are longer than 10 seconds.
2- Be on main snapchat camera screen. Swipe up to go to gallery pics. Go to your phone gallery and hold on the picture you want to use. Click "Edit Snap". Click on the Cut-out tool on the right side. It should look like a scissors icon. Now use the scissors tool and OUTLINE the entire picture on all 4 sides. Let go of the tool and now you should have a cut-out of that picture. Now go back to main snapchat screen. Take a picture of nothing (put your thumb on the camera so its just black picture). Now click the "insert" tool on the right side, above the scissors. It's the tool that lets you add emojis and emotes. On the bottom tray, click the Cut-Out tab, it looks like scissors. Your cut-out that you made should be there. Click on it to add it to your blank black picture. Resize it perfectly so it fits your phone screen fully and doesn't leave any black border. Cover the entire black picture with your cut-out. Now just post to story! Your picture will be a "live" picture and it won't say "Posted from Camera Roll".
