    Hi

I wonder how to write the long tail keywords into the meta tag.

This is an example of how I write them:
content="latest hit, new music, latest rap"

    Problem #1:
shouldn't be a ' arround the keywords, like 'latest hit'?
I wonder as when I saw this video where the man in the video says I should use ' arround keywords when testing how many search result it generate

    Problem #2
Why was it so important to have the keywords in ' when testing to see the search result in Google, I assume most people when searching they don't use ', - so from what I understand is that when I remove the ' arround latest hit, then google will return all the pages which contain both words somewhere inside the document, the words don't have to stand near each other as would have done with ' ???

honestly dont even bother with the meta keyword tag, most search engines ignore it and it doesnt count toward your ranking. google has come out and admitted several years ago that they ignore the keyword tag.

what you should focus on it placing the keyword in your title tag and also check your keyword density on your page you are trying to rank.

another thing you can do is place the keyword in an h1 tag at the top.

    as for your other questions

    1. the "quotes" show the exact match results, which is your true competition while no quotes returns the broad results. You use the quotes to actually see how many other sites are using the exact keywords. for long tail keywords it is ideal to have less than 30,000 results to rank easily.

    2. you are right, most people wont use the quotes when searching. again the quotes show the exact phrase you typed in not the broad term. without quotes it will show sites that have the keyword in it but not together.

    i hope this helps out.
