Hi, as in the title, I'm a newcomer to SEO and I have some doubts. It probably appeared on the forum, but I couldn't find it.

I'm wondering what the perfect article to post on worth sites should contain:
- What is the best length of the article, or the smallest acceptable, is it for example 300 words?
- That's a stupid question, but: Does each article have to be unique and I can only post it once?
- Is one anchor link to the homepage and one link to a specific landing page sufficient for linking in the article?
- And for 300 words will it be enough for a keyword to appear only once?

I think that would be enough; forgive my noobish questions, thanks :)

In regards to your content, it's more dependent on the Niche and the required level of content to rank for keywords within that niche.

A few rules I like to follow;
  • 1700-2000 Word Minimum
  • Include Titles, Images etc
  • Focus Keyword Set (Yoast, RankMath etc)
  • Clear Anchor Text (For Linking)
But as @Mr Positive said, you might want to look into SEO some more before link building.

Thank you guys for answering my specific questions. Of course, I'm going to take up my studies, I just needed to know it right away.

Most clients who order guest posts from us want:

1. 750 words minimum

2. 1-2 links to their site, and 1-2 links to authority sites (I like linking to Forbes, World Health Organization or peer-reviewed journals). For a total of 2 or 3 links in the article. Usually 2, 1 to them and 1 to an authority.

3. Unique article for each blog

I hope this helps :)
