How to write better?

English is my second language. I can read, write and speak in English. But would love learn, improve and practice my writing sills. Any good resources?

The course from the Minimalists is literally just a piggyback segway from their Netflix documentary. They are capitalizing on the only two things they really know how to publicly do (write and get rid of shit), and they're running out of things to write about getting rid of shit. Don't waste your time or money.

I second both @blogzandstuff and @Asif WILSON Khan's suggestions. I use Grammarly and Hemingway as pass-throughs for all my content writing orders and personal website processes. Grammarly does a great job at suggesting alternative words that I may miss out on, and Hemingway is stellar at ensuring that my content does not get too wordy or run-on like.

Other than that, just write and write and write more. Learn by doing.

These sound like great ideas to me. As said above, some of the key things are that your content is well structured, that you dont babble on too much - short and to the point sentences are generally a good idea as well as using lots of headings to break up the content. This makes it easy to read right through, but also easy for people to look at certain parts of the content.

One thing I would add is that you should also try to learn about how to research your content because I find its something that often gets overlooked. More people focus on making sure content reads well, its grammatically correct and its got LSI phrases in it and so on. People dont often talk about research and how that can truely add value to content and make you stand out above the rest.

I am not really an expert on it myself, but when I am writing I do try and do a fair amount of research before I start writing. Get some quotes together to include and sometimes look at some authoritative figures that I can quote and also mention on social channels when I publish my content.

Lastly, I would also say that reading other peoples content is a very practical way that you can better your own writing skills. Look for well known blogs and news sites and read the content posted there, then you try to replicate their style on your own way. Its not good to copy of course, but learning from the masters is always a good way to learn.

Hemingway seems like a good tool, will give a try. I do have grammerly premium and helping me regularly to get rid of stupid mistakes. Hope I can write something good, short and to the point as seth godin do Thanks for the tips.
