Before writing, check the top ranking pages to understand the search intent, then create content that answer the topic clearly and completely. Use your target keyword naturally in the title and headings, add relevant internal links, and focus on providing useful information rather than simply adding keywords. After publishing, monitor the article's performance and update it when necessary to keep it relevant.

What I understand is it start with finding a good keyword and understanding what people are actually searching for. Then you create useful content around that topic and optimize it naturally so both readers and search engine can understand
imo it is always better to do things in an uncomplicated manner by starting with keyword research nd competitor analysis, understanding the search intent, preparing an outline nd writing for the readers first. once that is done, we can work on the opttimization of title, headings, internal links, images nd meta description.

That's an excellent foundational workflow. What I would add is the SERP intent analysis prior to writing because it will enable you to write about the topic rather than the keyword.

The intent is massive. The other thing to keep in mind would be the search engine results page before writing, as sometimes the keyword might seem easy, but Google is obviously favoring another kind of intent.

I’d start with the SERP rather than the keyword itself.
- Pick the main query and understand the search intent.
- Study the pages already ranking and note what they cover well and what they miss.
- Build an outline around the actual questions and subtopics users need.
- Write the article for the reader first, using the keyword naturally rather than forcing it into every paragraph.
- Add original value where possible: examples, data, screenshots, personal experience, comparisons, or a clearer explanation.
- Add relevant internal links to supporting pages and make sure the article fits into a broader topic cluster.
- Optimize the title, H1, meta description, images, URLs, and basic technical elements.
- Before publishing, check facts, readability, intent match, and whether the page gives the user a reason to choose it over the current results.
- After publishing, watch impressions, queries, CTR, rankings, and conversions. If the page gets impressions but no clicks, test the SERP presentation. If it ranks but doesn’t move, improve the content and internal authority rather than just adding more keywords.
