1. Invest time in niche research, keyword research, and content plan.
2. Make sure you find some sort of interest in your chosen niche. You will have to write or read and proof hundreds of thousands of words.
3. Write your content, and make sure it's awesome.

SEO article has to be keyword and user search intent. First, do keyword research, its related topics, and add images or videos to increase the user's interest.
It should have proper tag and subheadings and don't stuff keywords.

Run their domains through a paid SEO tool so you can find their lower difficulty keywords.
Analyze those keywords to see how closely related they are to your target niche.
Put simply, would your target audience members be truly interested in the topics and themes raised by those keywords?
Another way of looking at it is to imagine that you are a customer and you use those keywords.
What would you be looking for when you type them into Google?
Once you filter that list, you should then use optimization tool like Frase or Surfer SEO to reverse engineer what your competitors content strategy is.
By using these steps, you can come up with not only an original SEO article based on keywords that people are already searching for but you also increase the likelihood that your content will rank.
