1. Start the title with your keyword
2. Make your URL short and include your keyword in the URL (bad URL example: simple.com/20-12-14/category/article. good URL example: simple.com/your-keyword)
3. Modifie your title by adding words like "2016", "best", "review" etc...
4. Wrap the title in H1 tag (Wordpress does this automatically, but check just in case)
6. Put engaging images and videos to keep the visitors longer on your site
7. Add at least 1 Subheadings and wrap it in H2 tag (include your keyword in at least one subheading*)
8. Include your keywords in the first 100 words of your article
9. Use outbound links to explain your articles (wikipedia,cnn,bbc...)
10. Add 2-3 Internal Links to every post.
11. Add LSI keywords in your article (Latent Semantic Indexing, are basically keywords that are semantically related to your primary keyword)
12. Image Optimization (name the images that you put on your article acording to the article, simple_keyword.png)
13. Image Compression - https://tinypng.com/ ( make sure all your images are in the range of 300kb (, this makes your site faster and easy to load, also you can use CDN and faster hosting to make your site much faster)
14. Use social sharing buttons
