How to win a claim in paypal?

Since i outsource many of my works It happens a lot to me
When I buy a service, some times the service provider deliver a crap work or never deliver it.

For example 1 month ago I bought some proxies from a website. Their proxies were suppose to be Private but they were not working at all, when I search the IP, I found them in public proxy websites... So simply the owner grabbed free proxies around the internet and sold them as private proxies to me, they were not even working.


So I opened a dispute on paypal and paypal didn't give me a damn, Paypal said since the deal was not made inside ebay , I am not entitled to buy protection and blah blah blah... thats ridicules, It means scammers can sell any virtual crap via paypal and no one can get their money back

The worst part is Proxy provider claim 3 days no-question-asked-money-back-guarantee and when I told this to paypal they said You need to contact seller in regard to refund, we can not force them to give u refund... WTF

There are couple of ways you can win a dispute but it depends on how you're sending the money. If you make the payment as gift or service then you can't claim the money but if you make the payment by selecting GOODS option then you can file a dispute.

Whenever you're buying something from a new buyer never use their payment link instead ask them for their paypal id and send them money as GOODS. By doing this you'll have a chance of getting your money back if the service is not delivered as described.

Paypal is totally correct. They are providing a funds transfer service, not escrow. Did you assume they will mediate any ol transaction just for the kicks?

Due diligence and responsibility is on the buyer. Next time, don't buy from crap providers. What would you have done if you had paid in cash? Cry to someone to force him to give "your" money back?

All that said, if your funds were from a credit card and and you can't win a pp dispute, you can make a charge back and bypass pp.

Exactly, Buyer scams are already a epidemic. Last thing we need is for PayPal to be able to force you to give money
back on services. Sometimes their is not always someone their to hold your hand. Wipe your tears and move on.

Buy from reputed sellers. Will keep peace of mind. Or go for escrow for larger transactions.

try to buy from reputable sellers, online there is always a "chance" to get scammed

charge back on cc is not a solution, once u do charge back u will lose your paypal account... as paypal is using widely by every one that would not be a wise act to losing ur acct...

Topic is not on due intelligence, of course every body do his own research, but this is not 100% bullet proof, some people are scam artist and can convince you that they are providing a good service. Here I am looking for a solution on how to win on rightful claims.

If you have experience you can share it, But just pasting same phrase that do research before buying isnt useful for any body Because its not just you who do research before buying, every one do that!

That's incorrect, you won't lose your paypal, now a few years ago you would but nowadays paypal doesn't terminate your paypal account. a chargeback is also the best method to getting your funds back if the seller hasn't held up to there obligation. I know because I do business with developers who think there cute and don't provide the work after there paid 50% upfront I just nicely call wells fargo issue a chargeback and my funds are credited back as a provisional credit they then go and ask paypal hey did you provide the work for our client if you did please respond within 14 days paypal never responds because they don't even care about there buyers.

I don't recommend this method if the seller is legit because you will be sued and taking to court, this is only to be used if someone is trying to run off with your money.

I remember before they close charge backers account so it should be their new policy (Let alone the hassle buyers should go through their bank for charge back)

Paypal will add a negative balance in your account, so if you charge back $100, when you login to ur pp account you will see -$100 as your balance
so again it doesnt make much difference rather than closing ur account, since if you receive any money the amount u had charged back will be deduced from it

not now, when someone charges back paypal takes the money back from the seller, not the buyer.
