Don't believe in sites that offer you viewing private profile, when you complete survey. It's total scam.

Here's tutorial how to see private profile:
* Let's say we're going to follow women private profile *

- Create new Instagram profile
- Add some cool men picture
- Add some cool description
- Add some random pictures
- Make profile as private

... profile will look legit, so it's big chance to you'll get approved. I assume about 85% of women will approve you with this method.

yeah create simiar priv profile and then request access
 
There is no other way except getting them to accept your request somehow. Even if there was an exploit, I'm pretty sure it has been fixed for a million times right now. Make a fake account which looks like something the person you're trying to follow would accept and try your luck.
 
That is absolutely true. So many people will say you “I’ve tried everyone and everything but no one seems to be able to help me” or “I’m always stuck at the human verification”.Simple create another instagram account and follow em, that is. I suggest one more thing based on this method insteye.com if you don't want to waste your time
 
Maybe make a fake account and request to follow that way. If you want to keep your anonymity definitely you need to make a fake IG account. This method waste very much time for only just one try. This can be very disappointing and make you scream. If you don’t want to waste your time you should try the insteye com.

I think it's not possible because Instagram has some rules and regulations. They have some strict rules.
 
if you found a methode that you could see private ig profiles whitout following the user, you can make huge amount of money if you report it to Instagram.

Although the profile image is visible, you cannot see the photos of a private Instagram account until the User allows you to see them by accepting your follow request.

Probably just a webfront to a simple script that does what the OP was told to do. Beats selling the accounts ;)

Unfortunately, no
Until the person who owns the account accepts your request, you can not see their profile's private images.
