Hello everyone. Heres a quick, easy and simple-to-follow guide to verifying your fan page, with out the need to have a website. I know alot of people who have fan pages don't own a website to verify it with, i am the same.
I've made this because so many people still ask how, even though there are multiple threads where people have asked, and people have given an answer. So here it is, all in one thread.
1. Wait until Facebook ask you to verify your Fan page.
2. Fill in the relevant information
3. They will ask you if you want to add an email to an existing account, verify with a website etc. Chose the website option
4. Create a blog at blogger etc. related to your fan page. If its a fun page, its simple - Just create the blog, add an image if you like and create a new post. Either copy and paste content from your own fan page, make something up, whatever you want to make your blog look real.
5. You need to make a fanpage badge which you can do on the page by clicking one of the links. You will then receive a html/javascript code. Add this to your blog (on blogger you click "add a gadget", HTML or Javascript, then paste it in)
6. You can also add a Fanbox too, which you can find on the same page (the page which asks for verification information)
7. Paste in the website box your blogs URL, and submit the details.
8. Allow some time to pass for Facebook to verify your fan page. Then your done!
BEWARE: If you attempt to verify a page that is against Facebooks terms and conditions / terms of service but hasn't been deleted, you will fail verification and lose your publishing rights or even page deletion.
If this is your case, before verifying; MILK YOUR PAGE and then after 3 weeks your page will be deleted. You should do this blog verifying method before the 3 weeks is up, just in case they do verify it.
If i have missed anything out, or wrote any wrong information please let me know as it was a while ago since i verified a page and there may have been updates etc. too
