How to verify the article that you written is unique?

    I received the content that was written by a freelancer. Now I want to check if it is unique one? Can some one suggest me how do I do that to evaluate the content is unique..

    You can use copyscape

    Throw your article up to your blog or other site that you just use for testing, and go to copyscape.com. Your article URL there -> results.

    I save them as a .txt file then FTP them to my site and check with copyscape. If you blog it up the world will find it.

    But with the free copyscape you have to actually upload it to your site 1st then check the new contents url in copyscapes database....then if it is duplicate content decide if you want to take it down.

    Correct me if Im wrong but that seems like a hell of alot of trouble. If you catch a Dupe Copy then you just wasted all that time


    There should be a much easier way.

    Just tried copyscape until it said that I reached the maximum free checks for my site :(
