How to verify Supplier?

I want to know if we found some suppliers/dropshipper online and want to build relation ship with them How can we verify them that they are reliable? What are the steps which we must verify before doing business? As we will not physically presents there so how can we verify quality and their overall business?

Well you could always do a sample order through paypal. Also you could search them on web.

Buy a product and have it sent to your home. Also google the crap out of them before deciding to even buy for a test.

I would recommend using escrow payment service to avoid getting scammed.

Like marusia said. Research about them through every source possible before sending a payment, even if it is PayPal. Try to give it a good research first and see how responsiveness they are. Sometimes, scammers just give it away. Also, ask about genuiness of the products they sell.

For the first order, just keep it simple and small.

Why not hire someone to go and check out their warehouse.
To make sure they do have the products. If they are a real company with real products. i doubt they would a visit.
