How to value SEO

So, I started a website (blog) one/two weeks ago. Page 2 on google, 12k exact searches every month.

How would I get traffic to this site? More content? Got like 9 articles, 400 words each, all 100% original and fits the niche (very specific niche).

More backlinks? Blast it?

I know I can get profit out of this, I just need to know how I can start getting traffic.

U need to get on to page 1, make a linkwheel or similar, lots of unique articles in 2 levels then blast the bottom level with links so as not to create a footprint. Throw some good edu links at it too, a press release wouldn't hurt either. Traffic on page 2 is unlikely to be more than 5-10 % of that on page 1.

You lose a TON of traffic by not being on the first page of Google. Heck, you lose a ton of traffic even if you're only number 2 on the first page.

I don't have enough posts here to submit a link but if you google "Keywords And Your SEO Strategy" WITH QUOTES and pick the top result, you'll get a really good idea of how much you're losing. Trust me, it's painful!
