How to value a website that has 15k per month

I have a website which is in the health niche. It gets around 13k-15k per month, from around 3k keywords. The main keyword brings around 3k visitors per month.

I havent really done much to monetize it...other than install an adsense wordpress theme. It makes around $100 per month.

Its not been hit by any panda / penguine updates, and has really top notch content on it.

If someone had the time to upload an article every few days or so I would estiamate it could become a real authority site with huge visitor numbers.

I dont have time or want to work on it.... and have no idea how much to sell it for.

Can anyone advise what would be the best way to value it?

Normally I would say that these kind of sites sell for 7-10 times monthly profit (on Flippa at least) which is lame for you in this case, but it seems your site is under monetized so maybe you can get a bit more. I would really try to first look for some profitable ads or make better use of Adsense before you try to sell.

Maybe I need to spend some time thinking how to increase the revenue

Around 6-12x monthly income, can vary per site, niche, content, quality/etc.

I would suggest you try and optimize it either for Adsense or something else so it brings in more $. 15k/mo visits is nice amount and should bring you in about 15-30$/day with just Adsense if you do it right (3-5%ctr/day).

Visitors per month is nice, but if you want to flip it, people look for $ per month.
