How to value a facebook group someone is selling?

How much should I offer someone for a facebook group they are selling.

It has 19,000+ members, last month it got 1000 new members. Naturally growing and getting popular.
It's in a niche I want to pursue and have the perfect domain for. It's a micro niche.

The current owner is tired and annoyed with the group, the people seem to hate ads but I'm thinking I can figure out how to slowly introduce my ads or bend the rules for my site or my wife's business.

How much do you think I should offer the guy. He's looking to sell and he's annoyed with how much work the group takes, but I'm thinking I could run it with my wife and keep growing it.

Only you can decide how much the group is worth for your own needs and then negotiate with the owner based on that.

Even if someone answers your question with a number, it won't be helpful as it depends on so many factors.

So, just estimate how much it's worth you and negotiate a little below that number and see if you can get it.

The number does not say its value, what is important is the value that the site brings to you and both parties find it reasonable.
 
u can ask other groups owner how much to buy their group, then decide how much to pay for this group

The members of the group are majorly from what countries?
 
Engagement is what matters.If it is dead group with 20k members, it is useless.
 
Look at how much other groups of similar metrics are selling for.
 
No of members doesn't matter if the group has low engagement rate and posting frequency, which i think are the most two important things, ad tolerance which mentioned by someone above is important too, you wanna know of the audience and niche can make you money, it's gonna be an investment after all, unless you're fan of the niche and just want to spend time in the group.

Offer something that is within your budget. Don't lowball the guy as a group like that is literally a bank.
