I want to get to $2,000 per month hands off income by Januray 2016, when my regular income ceases to exists. Any ideas how I can do it?
Here is what I have and don't have to achieve that. I'll find a way to thank all of you who give good ideas and helpful answers.

What I have:
* Writing skills
* WP skills
* Thousands of pre-written articles in most niches, mostly 150-300 words
* Around $300 to spend
* Around 10 websites in English in different niches, not optimized and without visitors or revenue
* 3-4 unused domain names
* A website selling pre-written articles (around 1,000 articles uploaded for sale, many more not yet set up)
* A local (not in English) affiliate site making $20 per month without any SEO or link building. Don't know how to build links to it using my existing English content.
* 7 years of writing experience
* ODesk account with lots of positive feedback

What I don't have:
* Much free time to work on any of this
* Any way to get more online time
* Not much experience with IM

Thanks for any help I can get!

You have good skills. You can focus on one of them and sell it to people.

Thanks, but I know how to make that money writing, etc. I need to make passive income using the resources I have. I can spend some time setting it up, but not much really.

This is what i'd do if i was you.

Set up a Good Looking profile on elance + freelancer + fiverr (should take around 2 hours of work)
Buy 2-3 reviews on all of them to make you look better.

Bid on all the writing and WP related gigs and tasks ( focus more on writing ) , if you don't have time, higher someone to bid for you ( put that 300 $ to use :p).

If your client requirements match with your stock, deliver the work straight away, if not.. work.

and as far as your websites go, try and sell them on flippa if you can't monetise them (just my personal opinion on it.) :)

It looks like you already have a good business model:

"A website selling pre-written articles"

You have quite a lot of stock, if this is unique hand written content try selling these on fiverr and directing traffic to your site selling these articles for $1 a pop or a little higher.

Take advice from the guys above and go to freelance. You have a better chance there.

Take stock of how much of your real time is wasted... Save some and use it on the most important tasks. Before 2016, you may complete all pending work, at least.

Perfect suggestion since you don't have much time anyway. Just sell your websites and be a freelancer. Being a freelancer wouldn't take so much of your time so it would be perfect for you.
