How to use paypal with a VPN

Hello guys, i was wondering if anyone could help me out on a problem. I want to keep my VPN on and make a payment with paypal. But at the same time i don't want the site i'm making the payment to, to know my real ip. The problem is that VPN ip is in a country and paypal account is from a different country. I'm pretty sure that logging in on paypal from the VPN of another country would send red flags to paypal and they will block my paypal account; i know there is a method (maybe turn off vpn once the paypal login page is loaded, login, turn on vpn and pay) but i dont really know - have you ever tried?

You will be ok.. PP reads your real IP not your VPN even if you are on a VPN.. PP reads your home IP..
 
Hi,
I think you should be careful about PayPal stuff because a little mistake can cost you your paypal account, you can use VPN for PayPal but it can trigger your document verification.

thanks for the suggestion,
that's why i'm trying to find a way not to trigger paypal and login using my home ip and then pay with the vpn turned on, so that when i will get redirected to the site i will have the vpn active; have you ever tried to do this or heard about this?

thanks for the suggestion. So no need to turn off the VPN? i'll just make the payment while on the vpn and they won't limit my account/ask to verify my identity? p.s the vpn ip is a dedicated ip

Yes that's fine. I use my stealth PayPal with 2 different dedicated VPNs.

The use of a VPN, or any sort of proxy, is not permitted when using PayPal.

Instead of paying with Paypal pay with the same credit/debit card attached to Paypal (or any other you may have) THROUGH paypal checkout.
This way your Paypal account wont be revealed to the person you are paying to.
You may use vpn all the way. Paypal wont care.
End of story.
 
From my point of view I believe that OP wants to use a VPN for payment because later he will ask refund with the claim "unauthorized transaction".... I don't know if I'm right but it can be a scenario :-)

not the case. i'm doing etsy stealth, i'm trying to pay my fees with paypal while having the vpn active.

The tricky part about this is:
1. etsy must see my vpn, i can't reveal my home address to the site
2. Paypal may limit my accout if they see me paying with a vpn which is located in a total different country from the location i usually access my paypal

i can then try two things:
1. turn off vpn once the paypal login page is loaded, login, turn on vpn and pay. this way paypal gets my home address ip and etsy my vpn ip, but i dont know if turning it off/on may reveal my real ip to etsy?
2. just pay everything on the vpn, but facing the fact that paypal may limit the account and ask wtf i'm doing (which has happened to a lot of people using a vpn for work)

any suggestion guys? really thankful for all the help

You should use a good proxy instead of a VPN. For the PayPal part, maybe pay with card so you dont have to login?

so mainly saying that your etsy account is different country and paypal account is different country. I am not sure whether it would create any trigger. Let see what other are saying
 
just use fresh proxies in your country. You can find proxys specially for paypal (search for stealth paypal proxys or so..)
