[HOW-TO] Use Google+ without having an invitation ;)

Thanks a lot, Was looking forward to trying it out.

It didn't work. Says that Google has exceeded capacity. I think Google stopped invitation after a lot of people tried to get in. We need to keep our eyes open if we need to get in.

This doesn't work anymore. Google has stopped new registrations to to google plus. This may have worked when registration was still open, but so did going to the sign up page...

Invitations are still open sometimes. Just keep re-trying , the only reason they close invitations sometimes is to generate fake demand and cos they love to threat people like stupid needy kids

Yes it's not working it said that google has exceeded capacity.
Maybe someone can send us an invitation it will be so appreciated.

google+ is testing should be invitation limited, Thanks a lot

@honeybird remember gmail was also in beta for a long time and was invitation only at the start

btw, the technique given by op worked for me

Also, after using it, its certainly much better than facebook and has less privacy concerns. I am sometimes terrified on sharing stuff on facebook as I dont know who can see that stuff and also due to mass interlinking between friends.

I cannot control if one of my professional friend or just and acquaintance tries to become friends with my family or close friends just by virtue of it showing that he has such and such mutual friends. The thought even scares the shit out of me.

Facebook is good for youngsters who dont have to manage expectations of various sections of society (even they get scared when their parents come on facebook) but for adult people the situation can become scary very fast.

google circles is a great way to keep different kind of people in one circle only so its a thumbs up from me

just my 2 cents

regards,

I don't think anyones able to weigh it verse facebook's success just yet. I realize this may be your opinion, but can you honestly say it's going to be more successful than facebook?

I don't think he was implying its success vs. Facebook, just that he thinks it is superior. There are a lot of things I think are superior, but don't think will be better than the competition. E.g. I love Linux, but don't think it'll beat Windows anytime soon in terms of market share.

Regardless, G+ has a looooooooong, uphill battle to become bigger than Facebook, though I hope it either beats Facebook, or at least provides the necessary competition to make both sites better.

what does the invitation do? I was able to add the google plus code on my site without it, and Im able to "plus" sites with my google accounts without it.
