How to use 2fa.live website for Amazon account?

A while back, I purchased an Amazon account and I received login info like this:

log in to your account , the will ask you an otp code .
then go to 2fa.live
put the authentification key in 1st case then submit . the will give you the otp code in the 2nd case (6 figures)."



I had never seen this 2fa.live site before, but it works flawlessely each time for logging in.

I have a notorious problem losing many Amazon accounts whenever I lose the associated phone number since I can't OTP myself in via SMS. I don't know if that happens to you guys.

I know there is Google Authenticator, but if you lose your phone then you also lose access?

Both these methods seem extremely unreliable and unsafe, you could potentially lose a lot of money if you lose a Seller, Merch by Amazon or KDP account like this.

So my question is how to setup a new or existing Amazon account to work with this 2fa.live website?

Any info is appreciated.
