How to understand if your video ranked well?

Hi all, sorry for the dumb question, but I always see people talking about how their videos ranked well or not, so I was wondering which is the better way to see how a video ranked.

Is there a guide that I can use to learn that? Thanks

If you're talking about HOW they ranked (e.g. what they did to rank), you can look at their metrics such as views, channel quality, etc. but that's about it
