Hi,

Just wondering, how can I un-limit my PayPal account, I have emailed them numerous times about it, They banned me for NO reason, I had been a member of PayPal for 6 YEARS. I sell about 4 items at the same price and BAM i'm permanently banned.

It's ridiculous, how do I remove the limitation? What can I say on the Email?

Thanks

Banned or limited?

One time I got limited because someone charged me on a subscription who wasn't supposed to, it pushed my account over and Paypal automatically tried to withdraw that from my bank. My bank responded back that I no longer had a bank account there, so I was limited.

I gave them a call and explained that I had just worked things out with my bank (but I didn't, I just said I did). I explained I had been a member of paypal since 2004 and could answer any security question they had for me.

I told them the only reason they needed a bank account was to verify that I am who I say I am, and just because my bank account was closed doesn't mean I'm suddenly a different person.

They actually went in and switched my bank account back to "good" and I was verified again. (I'm in the Philippines now, my bank account had closed due to inactivity and I couldn't easily renew it while I was abroad).

So it may be worthwhile to give them a call and complain ... if you can answer all your security questions and insist you weren't doing anything wrong, they might fix it.

Yea thanks for that,

Over 6 years I only probably sold around 10 items, with 4 of them in one year, all at the same price.. a few personal items!

Next thing im limited permanently..

They straight tell you why you're limited and what steps to become unlimited.

However fuck them, I stopped using PayPal on the first of the year and haven't looked back - way more financial stability!

If you're in the US, basically you're forced to add your SS#. Otherwise, you can expect problems, no long how long you've had an account.

i have same problem, tried to call them 2 times and they always say that my account is permanently limited and there is nothing i can do....

still will try to get in touch with different support person to get something more to have my account back.

did that what phpbiult did but that does not helped.
