    Hi
I went to power options and selected to turn off monitor after one minute of inactivity. But the monitor will not turn off if SB is in fast mode or slow mode. I guess because that's considered "activity"
is there a way to turn off laptop monitor when SB is running?

press Fn and the key with the box icon with an x inside. The key varies depending on laptop model. Other laptops go standby when closed

You need to look into your power options, I would think you could set it to turn off monitor after x minutes

This one does the job (windows), and it's free. I use it on my 'slave' laptops that don't have a display off button. I leave it at default settings, put the shortcut in the startup folder and just press shift + F1 to turn the display off.

    Code:
