planning to buy new computer. old computer has windows 7, new computer has windows 10.
is it possible to do a clone of the hard drive and transfer the data to the new computer, or this cannot be done due to the different operating systems?
if this is not possible, what else can I do? I would have to go to control panel to get a list of all programs installed and install them one by one? as far as documents, I copy everything in "my documents" and "downloads" to a usb drive and paste it in the new computer?
