So I am doing seo for different kws, how do i keep track of my position on google for each kw? preferably with a chart that shows the change throughout time.
if I don't like Google analytics much (as I don't want to share everything with google) is there a good script out there? what do you use to track your keywords?

Don't be a smart ass......had to do it. Seriously though if you want a paid one I like serpbook if you like a free one I like serpattacks but that's just me. There are a lot of serp trackers out there.

Link Assist's rank tracker is good. You can go 1,000 deep. You just some proxies to use with it.

SEOSERP dot com is the best option i think the best part is that you can track links for 1000 positions ;)

you can check by using rankchecker software. that is free available or seocentro is also good site to check online.

The idea that having GA installed somehow "shares" information is a myth.

Well, not a "myth" so much as people make WAY more out of it than it deserves. Google says GA doesn't share information with other parts of Google (which I don't believe), but even if they do, so what?

Chrome feeds everything Google needs to know about your traffic, as does the Google Toolbar. More than 30+ of your traffic is using Chrome, meaning Google knows everything about you already. So drink the Kool-Aid and install GA. Rank Tracker does everything you are asking for, but costs $.
