How to track a Youtube Channel for new uploads?

I am looking for a way through which i can constantly keep a watch on a number of youtube channels. As soon as they upload a video, i should get a notification. How can i do it?

Any APIs for that?

Subscribe and turn on the notification button. Create a dedicated Gmail account for this. If they are targeting specific keywords, use Google Alerts.
