Hey guys,

Name is Greg. I've been hanging around this site for a while, but never actually got to register or join the conversation.

I was the kinda guy who read 435 articles, then failed to act on them. Now I'm trying to change that.

About hobbies and stuff. I love cats. Cats are totally cool. So is coffee (ikr hot coffee rulez). And guitars. Well. I wear lumberjack shirts, have a beard and listen to Radical Face while eating cookies and playing with my cat. I think it pretty much says it all. I'm also into MOBAs, mostly LoL.

So what about the title? This guy seems alright.
Yup. Here comes my personal stuff. If you are not interested skip this, please.

So I've made some pretty dumb decision in the last half year or so. I ended up moving back to my parents, losing my job and my girlfriend and like a lot of money. Long story short. Need to get a job like pretty fast to be able to stay at my parents'. I have a nice CV and stuff. That's not the problem. I could get pretty cool jobs. I just don't want to spend 40 hours a week working on some random job. Gotta do something else (Hey BHW, what's up? <3), 'cause regular jobs here in my country are bad. For real. Much worse than in the US.

What does it all have to do with you?

Your call. Laugh at me please. Or call me a noob. Or whatever.
Or. Maybe. If you could help me out with some quick gig, like anything. I'd totally love you.
Looking occupied is the main thing I'm aiming for. Not the money. I can get some money in a few weeks. But I just need something to - you know- work on as a job. Like, 'Hey Mom, look I'm making this website for that guy. Maybe I'll get paid maybe it'll look good on my resume.' Whatever. But you could totally save me from getting a bad job or ending up on the street or some random couch. So if you have anything in your mind, feel free to help me out on this (graphic jobs, article writing, websites, anything mostly - I'm a quick learner).

Well. I'm done with being a loser. Thanks for listening. (I guess it couldn't hurt to ask after all. And I really didn't want to make a new thread for this.)

Anyway. I hope I can be a useful member of this community. Nice to meet you all.

Cheers, Greg

I'm not much different than you, Greg. :)
It's a good thing that we're willing to change bad habits though.
Good luck! ;)

Well i just can say that keep in on new freelancing job, i hope you got some good offer.

Thanks,

Welcome to the site! Keep your focus on the end goal and the hustle up. Been there before. Life is a lot like a heartbeat, if it wasn't for the up's and down's we'd be dead.

What are some of your strongpoints and skills?
