How to test a blog idea?

Hi I wrote a blog article in the self-help niche. My blog idea covers many parts of this niche in a logic story. So because of that, I don't need to dig for a sub-niche. But still, how can I test this before spending money on domain and logo? Because it takes some time to write and edit these articles.. isn't like a physical product...

You can't test the product(your blog) before actually putting the product to the market.
 
Publish it and see! There's no other way to find out.
 
Just publish it and see sometimes you got to dive in the deep end.
 
I second that. Publish content on medium.com first to test for engagement. Or just post it on your website. The good thing is you can always optimize it later.
 
Publish it on medium and promote it on relevant sub-reddits, forums, social and quora and check the engagement you get.
