How to target USA audience on TikTok?

Surfshark vpn
USA apple account and download TikTok
USA Gmail and sign up for new TikTok account yesterday

Now I can not follow anyone and I post video but 0 view

I live in outside of USA now.
What did I wrong?
Please help me

There is a high chance that the system will detect inconsistencies between device, IP, and user behavior. It is better to take care of the account naturally before using it to post videos.
 
TikTok can flag new accounts with sudden location changes, so it might hold back reach at first. Try using the account normally for a while, interact with content in your target niche, and post consistently to build trust before pushing for full USA targeting.

What does account “normally” mean? And I can not turn off vpn and SIM card right? but what does “before pushing for USA targeting” mean?

By “normally,” I mean use the account like a regular user i.e. watch videos, like, comment, follow people so it looks natural. And yes, keep the same VPN and SIM for consistency. “Before pushing for USA targeting” means wait until the account feels established before focusing all your content and hashtags on the US audience.

Do you keep the IP consistent when using a proxy? Moreover, do you warm up the account before posting a video? My tip is to warm up the account for at least 3-5 days before posting a video

It works perfectly fine for me with a setup similar to yours, the only difference is that I am using NordVPN instead of Surfshark.

When did you post videos? And When you post videos, how many your viewers did they watch?

On the same day, I basically warm up the account a bit and then upload the first video right away.

It's not important to me. When i post videos, i need usa audiences.

This is the most important, you will see it after first 100 views in your video
FYP is not such important like analytics
 
Basically all i know is that you have to make it real, if your profile look spammy and your videos contains other metadata the bot will not push it to alot of people, thesame if your profile has little interactions with their app
 
TikTok is probably flagging the account because your device, SIM, VPN, and actual location don’t fully align. Even with a USA SIM and VPN, TikTok can detect mismatched signals like GPS location, device history, or network patterns, which can trigger a shadowban that’s why you can’t follow and get 0 views.

For a clean start, you’d need a consistent setup: same IP/location signals across device, SIM, and account, plus avoiding any suspicious activity in the first days (like rapid follows). Sometimes it’s faster to start fresh with a new device or reset + new SIM in the target region than trying to recover a flagged account.
