    Let say my keywords were:
    "stand up"
    "please stand up"
    "stand up now"
    "please stand up now"
"please stand up now and run"

Can I make an article about "please stand up now and run" and then get it to rank for all 5 strings using blogs and SB?

Yes it should but that will need to be in the title, H1 etc etc, so its onsite SEO optimized for those key words. And your rank mayb be on the 100th page but you will see in ur google webmasters page if you have one.

Also spamming backlinks don't really do shit any more you need in content links. scrapebox blasts should be done to your 1st or 2nd tier for added link juice and quick indexing.

My MNS sites target like 2 or 3 keywords but rank very low for allot of long tail keywords and relevant terms.
