Hey guys, I've been curious lately, how the hell do you get people to actually pay for stuff on affilate offers?

In my experience, I won't get ANY conversions if it's an offer that requires a credit card.. But then again, I use facebook for traffic.. everyone on facebook doesn't want to spend shit.

What do you guys do to reel in the paying customers? Emailing lists? Adwords?

I want to delve more into adwords but I have no idea how to start. How would I make a landing page that's adwords safe, but also takes me to an affilate offer?

That's easy, create a website. Most people on Facebook are not the kind of people that are bringing home a decent income.

Lol seriously? With most of the western world of Facebook, that is saying that there aren't many rich people in the western world.

Yes, but what kind of website? And how would I make a website that would be profitable if I promote it with adwords?
I wish I knew more about this shit

Yeah, but people ON facebook don't want to spend money usually. Unless its a product page linking to store items.

edit: sorry double post

I agree, Facebook isn't where people go looking to spend money. But it doesn't mean it's not a valuable source of traffic. FB coverts better for PPC not so much affiliates. If you can capture the audience fro Facebook and make them your own audience, it's a different story.

I think you are right. Just like people in a cinema don't want to buy a car. They want to be entertained. However, that Isuzu clip might make them remember the brand in 5 years when they need a new car.

Build a list of Ferrari owners.

FB is great for traffic, but the traffic won't want to pay for anything.

I've made a good few thousand bucks with adult affiliate offers that pay you for free sign ups.
I just want to start learning how to really pull in the dough with more advanced methods

Website + SEO is the only real method.
