Hi all.

This question might come off as something you've probably seen alot.

Q: How do you target active users based on your niche?

Here's what I did for FL setting:

1. Scrape user's followers. For example followers of @nike
2. Like followers of @nike, user's photo.
3. Daily limit 300 photo likes.

I have seen someone recommended this method. But they have millions of followers. How can I scrape on active followers who's always engaging with @nike?

With my current setting, not only will it take forever to scrape, and it's 300 likes limit, I am not seeing any engagement on my own account.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Same thing I am running in to a dry spell, and I am using photography.

Why are you scraping based on account instead of based on, e.g., tag? Then you can just periodically see who is posting under that hashtag. It doesn't work for slow niches, but if you are scraping nike I imagine you are scraping fast-moving niches which should work fine for this approach.

On followliker if you take a look at 'scrape users' you can enter an option that says people who liked and people who commented. Then it will only scrape users who have liked or commented on nike their photos ;)

You can't. There are ways to target better, but this method only gained me 50-60 followers a day. I use a new method (for me) which is mentioned above, that is netting me 100-170 followers a day. (Following commenters, likes of recent photos)

Do you use twitter, you can add # on your twitter. So people easily search for your niche on twitter

Thanks for all who suggested "users who liked, users who commented". Can I know which version onwards had this feature?

I was pretty certain I used this function and couldn't find it until you guys mentioned it.

It's been there for at least 2 months I believe, can't say for more though.

Did you know that you are actually following people who tagged say nike, instead of followers of nike. This one is very tricky and took me a bit to figure out that we can't actually follow commenters/likers of the actual photos.
Anyone knows how to scrap users who liked/commented of say nike's photos? You would get hundreds of followers a day that way.

Yes, many people including me are scraping users this way.

Simply, in your queries, choose 'Users Who Liked' and enter the ID of the photo.

I'm using this method too. Following commenters really gives you more followers than simply liking followers of the certain user. To find the most active audience you can combine this method with following people who liked user's photos

How do you get FL to like the pictures of someones followers?! I only see the option to like pictures id.. How do you do that

Very well. I am having the best results this way. The worst results I had when I scraped users based on hashtags.

hashtags gave me the worse traffic as well. a lot of these guys have been spammed to death..

Thanks for the tip. Do you also put in fresh new photo(ID)s daily? Do you also clear the scraped users to ensure you get likers/commenters of the new photos? What's a good number of photos to put in daily?
