How To Take Your Articles To Another Level

I've been lurking on this forum for a while now, and it's really been great a help to me. It's one of the few places where people generously share what actually works.

So yeah, I'll cut the waffle and share with you something that's helped me. This could be handy if you're not a native English speaker, or even if you are and need a little help from time to time, this still could help.

I found, when trying to write an article, it's always best to read it aloud. You're probably thinking - well duh! However, reading everything aloud gets tiresome fast. It may not even help, particularly if you're not a native English speaker.

Step in natural reader. For those who don't know, this is an online text to speech reader. This is usually responsible for all those robotically voiced Youtube videos, but that's beside the point, this can use this for other things.

All you need to do is upload your article to it to hear how they sound. This is a great way to catch any mistakes before publishing and to hear the tone you are setting.

Well that's it, simple advice that is sure to help someone out there.

Good idea, never thought of it. To be honest, I don't even read my articles out loud anyway, so this is a good idea to try.

You may not know how much those tips might help... I am not a writer by any means, but I'm "business broke" so I'm doing literally everything myself. Can't afford a writer

This could be great for one of those, subconscious check things. Like, play it in the car when you aren't thinking about it and maybe something will jump out.

Basic copywriting tip. Also writing in down in pen and paper is a good one.

Wow, that’s actually a genius idea. However, I usually send my articles to a proofreader immediately upon completion. I just run them by Grammarly, Yoast, and Copyscape, and send them on their way. But if I didn’t have proofreaders or deadlines, this would be a way to check myself.
