How to take a video down with copyright.

Hey guys. So I have this competitor, in a gaming niche. I've done all I can to break him down, leave custom comments saying he's s**t, stuff like that, you get the idea. Then I proceeded to dislike bomb the fella, he stopped uploading for some time. But this takes some time and a computer (for the bot). Recently he uploaded a video with music he does not have copyright. How do I proceed to report him? After reporting will youtube give him any information about me? Such as name or youtube channel?

Ps: I know you need something like 3 strikes but I think it's worth it.

Press the report button on YT (it looks like a flag on the lower right hand corner of the video). No information about you will be shared with him.
 
Why don't you just work hard and stay dedicated to your work, this is the only way to build something that truly lasts, look man I get it, going the easy route is just in human nature for the most part, but when you start going down the road of trying to ruin other peoples work just to win, I can assure you that your victory will be short lived.

All the kids that started PPD/CPA are flagging everyone. Go and learn how to really kill your competition.
 
Why you're not trying to post the URL of video here.
80-90% of videos shared here actually are not available!

Note: If you will lose some time in your videos you can get down not just this video but also some hundred other videos.
 
Why don't you learn some SEO or buy service and play the game fairly instead of flagging the videos...
 
Instead of being obsessed with trying to ban him, try improving your own content and work hard just like everyone else.

As mentioned, karma is a bitch.
 
It depends how many views, likes etc that the video has, if it it ranked high on page 1 with over 100k views I highly doubt it's coming down, if it's still fairly new just flag it from a few different ip's and it should get taken down. I do agree this is a weasel tactic and you should learn to rank videos yourself, but hey... It's a dog eat dog mofos!!!
 
Please don't take offence on what I'm about to say. Why would you be so critical about me bringing a competitor down? Play it fair? What's fair about ranking videos illegally? Don't you guys think that by helping your own channel with black hat techniques that is obviously hurting other people's channels? Trying to bring your opponent down is something that we see everyday, take a look at apple's fight with samsung or big tobacco companies trying to ban electronic cigarettes because they are hurting their income.

And there were some replies talking about karma... There are a lot of people that make PPD similar to: get a free wow code if you complete this survey. You are basically stealing money from people (assuming they don't get what you said they would).

I work very hard on my channel, I was able to rank every video to page one and most of them to position one. It's not like I am trying to grow by making others look bad.

But you guys have you opinions and I have mine. No need to argue about that. Someone actually answered to my question so, thank you.
 
All I read from the newbies are threads about negative SEO and negative comments. Shit, SEO is about sticking it to the man, instead we got a group of punk assholes doing Google's dirty work for them and acting like Matt Cutts wannabes. At least Matt Cutts is getting a nice pay check for his efforts assholes!

I agree with the posters above there has been very few videos i could not beat in the long run some dont happen quick but you learn and move on or stay steady.
You can take videos or whole channels down but i am not going to tell you how to do it because i do believe in Karma and it biting me in the ASS.

If you learn Youtube you can beat almost anyone if he has authority channel it will take time make yours a authority channel and bang it out.
 
Yeah filing false copyright claims when your not the actual company will just either get your account banned or B land you in jail.
